On 07.05.2012 sea transshipment complex "Taman" commenced STS (ship-to-ship) operations.
On 07.05.2012 sea transshipment complex "Taman" commenced STS (ship-to-ship) operations. The complex includes storage tanker "Alan Veliki" (built 2004, Deadweight 166,000 t, flag Croatia), located at reloading position no.9 of sea transshipping area "Taman" of Sea Port Kavkaz. The delivery of petroleum products to storage tanker is performed by river-sea going tankers of carrying capacity 4800 t. Exporting from storage tanker is intended to be done by sea tankers with carrying capacity 30,000 – 100,000 t. The complex is handling F.O. and V.G.O. Estimated volume within 2012 navigation (May to December 2012) is 1 million tons. First river-sea tanker was accepted on 07.05.2012.26.03.2012First parcel of 100000 mt of Crude oil has been loaded on board of MT Nevsky Prospect on 24.03.2012 at Ust-Luga terminal “Nevskaya Pipeline Company”, which was build within the Project of “Baltic Pipeline System-2» (BPS-2). Infotech Baltika was acting as forwarding and shipping agent.

This was the first time the tanker with a deadweight of 73,000 tons with a cargo of gas condensate owned by OAO "Novatek" has passed throughout the Northern Sea Route in such an early period.
The tanker left Murmansk on the 29th June loaded with 60,000 tons of gas condensate. Shipagency for loading has been attended by Infotech Baltika repr.office in Murmansk. This voyage was the first in this year's transit passages for the Northern Sea Route, which was performed under assistance of nuclear ice-breakers of Rosatomflot. Further voyage M/T Perseverance will continue without assistance in open water through the Bering Strait with final destination in China.
Passage throughout Northern Sea Route
On the15th July transit passage of M/T Perseverance throughout the Northern Sea Route under assistance of nuclear ice-breakers "Yamal" and "Taimyr" has completed.This was the first time the tanker with a deadweight of 73,000 tons with a cargo of gas condensate owned by OAO "Novatek" has passed throughout the Northern Sea Route in such an early period.
